Description: The intent of this solicitation and resulting agreement is to obtain the services of a qualified contractor for elevator inspection and plan review services in accordance with Virginia Construction Code (VCC) and Virginia Maintenance Code (VMC). These services include review of plans for the installation of new equipment, replacement and modernization, inspection of newly installed or altered equipment (i.e. elevators, moving walks, dumbwaiters, etc.), recurring inspections of covered equipment, and investigating complaints and/or accidents related to existing equipment.

Question: 1. How is pricing being evaluated relative to the Evaluation Criteria provided in Section V.6? 2. Can you provide a demonstration or manual for the Permit Arlington Conveyance system and how a report is submitted through the portal? 3. Is there a device list that shows weather they are hydraulic, traction, etc. 4. Please confirm we are doing cat 1 test witnessing on all devices and cat 5 test witnessing where applicable 5. Can we receive a list for applicable devices on the last time a cat 5 was performed 6. to clarify plan review will be performed by a QEI and Virginia certified inspector 7. Residential acceptances will be completed by the third party elevator inspection firm; no additional elevator inspections will take place? 8. Per Virginia statute all inspection requests must comply within 48 hours of requested inspection date?
