Description: The project primarily involves clearing & grubbing, earthwork, and drainage improvements associated with the construction of improvements to an eroded gully.  The limits of construction begin at the end north end of Motley Court and extends north approximately 1,600 feet, to approximately 120 feet south of Clear Creek near the east end of Crooked Oak Drive.  The project site is approximately three (3) acres in size.  The project’s overall goal is to protect Clear Creek from sediment deposition caused by the continued erosion of the gully by constructing a step-system of sediment basins, drainage structures, conveyance piping, and ditch checks.  Areas disturbed by the project will be either be sodded, covered in turf reinforcement matting, or both.  The project is funded by the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
