Description:
Calhoun County is seeking a qualified contractor to operate
household hazardous waste (HHW) collection events. As part of this service, the contractor will
screen participants, unload, identify, classify, segregate, package, create
manifests, transport, process, and properly dispose of HHW delivered by Calhoun
County residents. Potential contractors
must submit a proposal for all four collection events to be considered. The
length of this contract
will be one (1) year, commencing on January 1 , 2022 and continuing through December
31, 2022. This contract may be extended for four (4) one-year extensions, at
the discretion of the County, including evaluation of past services, and
through mutual agreement of both parties. Contractor must be able to commence
provision of household hazardous waste services by April 1, 2022.
