Description: Georgetown County Public Services Department is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide all labor, services, personnel, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to remove beavers and portions of beaver dams and insure that old stream run is reestablished to its natural state and the flow of water restored to normal levels in all ditches/drainage located in the specified service area within Georgetown County under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement an as needed basis. Bidder must also agree to maintain each designated site as free from the presence of beavers and beaver dams for a period of six (6) months. All work shall be quoted per acre as a firm fixed price in writing before any work starts. While the County has identified the potential need for beaver control in eleven (11) specific areas across Georgetown County, but could be extended to other locations on an as needed basis. Contractor must have a general liability insurance policy equal to or greater than one (1) million dollars. Permission to access private land for trapping will be obtained by the County before any trapping shall begin.
