Description: Dorchester County is requesting sealed bids from qualified firms for the construction and installation of a new clarifier mechanism, RAS pump, tertiary filter, sludge feed pump, polymer feed system, sludge grinder, decanter centrifuge, fine bubble diffused air system, and positive displacement blowers at the Lower Dorchester Wastewater Treatment Plant. This project includes construction of related electrical, control and information systems components, and all piping, valves and associated work necessary to render the facilities complete and operational. All work shall be as described or implied in the Specifications and indicated on Contract Drawings. This project is being funded by a loan from the State Revolving Fund and bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents – including Davis-Bacon and “American Iron and Steel” Provisions.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the Lower Dorchester Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 2900 Landing Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29420.
