Description: The County has an aging industrial grinder that has taken months to repair. In light of the down time associated with repairs and the fact that purchasing a new grinder could take more than (2) two years once ordered, the County needs an “on-call”/“stand by” service agreement to cover extended periods of mechanical breakdown.
The County will be responsible for mulch material on the discharge side of the grinder as well as segregation and management of discards. Historically, County generates 13,000 to 16,000 tons of organics/yard trash annually for processing/grinding.
