Description: SCOPE OF SERVICES:
LED Pole and light fixture installation at Garden City Park.
The contractor will be responsible for the installation of 9 - 75’ light poles and cross arms with a total of 60 LED light fixtures. All materials are in-stock at a County storage location. All equipment will be delivered to the site by the County at an agreed upon date with the contractor. All fixtures and cross arms to be assembled to poles on site and then installed by the contractor per manufacturers specifications. The contractor shall provide all necessary electrical upgrades to existing service as required by code (Must Field verify). The contractor shall install 2 keyed switches (outdoor rated and made in USA) to control all of the lights for the Soccer/Football field, one switch at the field and one switch at the panel. The switches will result in instant on/off capabilities. The contractor shall provide all appropriate surge protection and grounding per NFPA and be UL listed. The contractor shall provide complete electrical construction drawings.

CST. While the meeting is non-mandatory, attendance is highly encouraged.

Question: Are bonds required for this project, i.e., bid bond, payment bond, performance bond?
Response: No bonds are required.

Question: 1. Please confirm there is no state of federal funding involved in the project and therefor the Davis Bacon wage scale does not apply. (If Davis Bacon does apply, please provide a copy of the current wage scale we should use. 2. We don't see any requirement for a bid bond. Please confirm bid bond is not required for this project. (If this does become a requirement, please allow time for the contractors to procure the bid bond.) 3. Will a performance and payment bond be required? 4. Please change the payment method as discussed at the Prebid meeting to be a progressive monthly payment based on work completed and stored material. (Not a onetime payment at completion of work.) 5. Will the cost of permits be waived, or will the contractor be required to purchase permits for the project? 6. Please provide location that contractor will be required to deliver the spoil material. 7. Will the buy America act apply to this project? 8. IS it understood that the contractor will not warranty any owner provided fixtures, poles, hardware etc.? How will it be handled if part of the fixtures do not work? 9. The day of the Prebid it was noted that none of the hardware needed to attach the cross arms to the poles and the fixtures to the cross arms was on site. Does the owner have this material at another location?
