Description:

Request for Proposals will be received by Okeechobee County for Line of Credit Banking Services from financial institutions for a non-bank qualified, tax-exempt, Line of Credit with a fixed and/or variable rate option in an amount not to exceed $15,000,000. The Line of Credit will be a direct placement to be held by the selected provider(s) and the County will not prepare any offering documents or commit to provide any continuing disclosure information specific to the Line of Credit.

The purpose of the Line of Credit is to provide the County with interim funding to pay costs related to the construction and renovation of its jail facilities. The Line of Credit will be secured by the County’s covenant to budget and appropriate from legally available non-ad valorem revenues.
