Description:

The City of Carlsbad is accepting proposals for the rehabilitation of the 5.0 million gallon concrete tank (Reservoir No. 2) located off Holland Ln. in Carlsbad, NM. The tank is approximately 205 feet in diameter by 20 feet tall. The exterior wall is differentially backfilled.

 The City of Carlsbad is accepting proposals to make the tank thoroughly tight against leakage. No coatings will be allowed which are not approved for use (as a contact surface with potable water) by the EPA, National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), or United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). All newly installed coatings must conform to American National Standards Institute/National Sanitation Foundation (ANSI/NSF) Standard 61 and must be certified by an organization accredited by ANSI.
