Description: Jackson County (Owner) requests Proposals from Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) firms for the construction of a new Jackson County Fleet Maintenance & Public Works Facility. Upon completion of a review of proposals received, the Owner anticipates awarding a contract for pre‐construction services, and, at the County’s discretion, a subsequent contract for construction.

PROJECT SCOPE: The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 22,000 square foot Fleet Maintenance & Public Works facility for Jackson County, GA. The project will consist of development of approximately 4.28 acres located just outside the City Limits of Jefferson, GA off County Farm Road by way of Highway 82 or Highway 15. The new facility shall consist of a pre‐engineered metal building structure for use as a fleet maintenance and public works facility. Site work includes new parking, landscaping and hardscaping.
Questions must be submitted in writing via e‐mail by 2:00 p.m. EST on September 3, 2024 to be considered. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly labelled on the outside as “Jackson County Fleet Maintenance & Public Works Facility” and received no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on September 6, 2024 at the Jackson County Administrative Building, 67 Athens Street, Jefferson, GA 30549. All submittals shall contain four (4) hard copies and one (1) electronic PDF on a storage device containing all information requested. Submittals received after the deadline will not be accepted or considered. Facsimile or e‐mail submittals will not be accepted or considered.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities and informalities, and readvertise.
