Description: Tom Green County requests proposal submissions from qualified and experienced firms to provide fiber optic cable infrastructure aboard Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. The contractor shall engineer, furnish, install, terminate, and test (EFI&T) single mode fiber optic cable backbone. Additional scope of work includes EFI&T fiber between Information Transfer Buildings (ITB's) and to additional building locations. Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Pre-authorization for a security pass is required for any prospective vendor representative wishing to attend the site visit. Site Visit Base Requests MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5:00 PM MARCH 16, 2022. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD MARCH 23, 2022 BEGINNING AT 1:30 PM JUST INSIDE THE VEHICLE INSPECTION STATION. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO ENSURE YOU ARE CLEARED THROUGH SECURITY BY 1:30 PM. THIS IS AN ESCORTED SITE VISIT AND LATE ARRIVALS MAY NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE BASE.
