Hearne Independent School District is soliciting competitive sealed proposal for a Financial Business Officer. 

Desired Qualifications, Experience, and Certifications:

• Associates Degree in Finance or Higher in business, accounting or other related field

• At least five (5) years of administrative or management experience in the fields of finance or accounting.

• Expert in his/her field. Advance knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems and economics.

• Specific knowledge in budgeting EGrants and Title grants

• Demonstrated experience for oversight of all financial and business affairs of a district. 

• Knowledge of information/data processing systems and financial applications.

• Ability to manage budgets, personnel, and interpret data

• Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Submitted proposals must be received in a sealed envelope and the envelope must be marked Proposal for Financial Business Officer in the lower left hand corner.  Proposals must be sent to Erica Duplechain, Director of Finance and Business, 900 Wheelock St., Hearne, Texas 77859 and received prior to 4:00 p.m., October 5, 2018. Proposals will be opened at that time and location.  Hearne ISD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals
