Question: Please provide the requirements of the Bid Bond if one is still necessary to submit with the proposal as stated on page 6 , #9 of the RFP.

Response: Please disregard the Bid Bond, this item is not required.

Question: 1. Can you give us your expectations for events and coverage? For evenings, weekends and expectations before, during and after events are completed?

Response: Custodial staff will open and close for events at the building. This includes weekdays and weekends. After events at the building custodial staff are expected to clean the area that was used. This includes gym, commons, halls, restrooms, etc.

Question: Can you give me your expectations for Day porter coverage for breakfast, lunch, restroom and on call services?

Response: Currently we have staff coming in at different times; 5:30 AM for 3 staff members, 11AM for 3 staff members, and at 2PM the second shift starts. The 6 staff members during the day handle lunch together and the 3 early shift staff handle breakfast. All 6 handle on call services during the day.

Question: Is there a requirement for someone to work every Saturday and Sunday during school sessions?

Response: Weekend work is typical. There are events on most weekends including holidays.

Question: You stated there was no need to provide a bid bond but you also noted a performance bond, is that needed?

Response: A performance bond is needed.

Question: Can you provide history of usage for consumable products now to be provided by contractor?

Response: During the 2021-2022 school year the monthly average cost for consumables was $3600.00. This was also a year of extra Covid-19 mitigation.

Response: Yes custodial staff open and close the buildings throughout the week and on weekends when needed.
