Question 1

Posted: 5/11/2022

Question: Below are a list of the questions/points we discussed on site visit 5.9.22 that need clarification: 1) Request copies of P&L from last 3 years in business for Gene Torres GC. 2) Maintenance staff, is that budget covered under NMHU or GCMC funding? 3) Maintenance staff, are they strictly used on Golf Course or will they be shared on the NMHU campus? 4) Is there a proposed structure for Restaurant Operations and if so, what does that look like? 5) Is it a definite requirement to offer individual lessons during 1st year of operation? I would propose conducting group lessons to generate more people onsite during the 1st year of operation. 6) Should we offer group classes to NMHU during the Spring/Fall semesters? 7) Will I have access to work-study students for labor? 8) Golf Range: - Is there a mechanical golf picker available? - Is the Golf Ball machine operational - leased - owned? - Estimated # balls available for the driving range 9) Please clarify how funds are handled for retail merchandise sales. 10) Current inventory: Sell in Golf Shop, and remaining inventory sell at the end of season. 11) Golf Cart Maintenance: Batteries/Tires - who is responsible? Golf course maintenance or Golf Shop? 12) Section IV: 3. Period of Performance: 60 days & NMHU can terminate the contract? Can this be extended to 1 season? 13) Section IV: 4. Budget: What is the proposed budget? 14) Section IV: 8. Please explain this whole paragraph. I am unable to understand what you are requiring here. 15) The email I received from VendorRegistry.com is asking for the following documentation, however I am applying as an individual. • Contractors license (I am applying as individual, I do not have a contractors license) • W9 (is this needed as part of submission of RFP?) • Proof of insurance (I will obtain insurance if I am awarded the contract)

Response: Please find answers to questions 1 through 14 in document labeled Addendum 2 RFP 22-004 Questions and Answers attached to RFP in Vendor Registry. Question 15 Part 1: You do not need to provide contractors license Question 15 Part 2: W9 will be required if awarded contract after negotiations Question 15 Part 3: Proof of Insurance will be required if awarded contract after negotiations
