Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A pre-bid meeting will be held on April 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Rosa County Central Landfill, 6337 Da Lisa Road Milton FL, 32583. Meet in the front parking lot for further instruction. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend.

Overview: The Central Landfill has been utilizing a contractor to perform green waste processing and grinding services since 2017. The current agreement for these services expires at the end of May, 2022. Staff advertised an invitation to bid "ITB 22-023 Green Waste Processing/Grinding" on April 14th, 2022. The only bidder meeting specifications was the previous contractor Jimmie Crowder Excavating & Land Clearing, Inc to provide grinding services to the county for an amount of Twenty-Two Dollars and FortyThree Cents ($22.43) per ton and Three Dollars and Ninety Five Cents ($3.95). The attached agreement is for a term of One (1) year and may be renewed upon mutual agreement of both parties for a period of up to Three (3), One (1) year renewals.
