Cleaning Services for Municipal Facilities
City of Etowah, Tennessee
Introduction
The City of Etowah is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or companies to provide cleaning services for designated municipal facilities. This contract will begin on November 19, 2025 and includes routine cleaning of City Hall, the Police Department, and—upon completion—an expanded Library facility scope of Services.
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
A. City Hall
• Biweekly cleaning outside business hours
• Tasks include:
o Dusting, vacuuming, mopping
o Restroom sanitation
o Trash removal
o Surface disinfecting
o Kitchen cleaning: wipe down counters, sanitize sinks and appliances, remove trash, and mop floors
o Quarterly refrigerator cleaning: empty and sanitize interior, wipe down exterior, and discard expired items (with staff coordination)

B. Police Department
• Biweekly cleaning outside business hours
• Must occur on the same day as City Hall cleaning
• Tasks include: restroom sanitation, lobby and office cleaning, trash removal, and surface disinfecting
C. Library (Future Addition)
• Cleaning schedule and scope to be finalized prior to facility opening

You may pick up a packet at the Etowah City Hall M-F 8:00 am thru 4:30 pm located at the drop off address shown below or you may submit your proposal via email to: citymanager@cityofetowahtn.com by 12:00 pm, Friday, December 12, 2025 or you may drop off in a sealed envelope at City Hall, 701 TN Avenue, Etowah, TN 37331. Late submissions may not be considered.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Facilities visit to City Hall and the Police Department will begin at City Hall and then to the Police Department.
