Bids will be accepted from bidders under seal to Owner at 2:00 p.m. on May 9, 2023. Bids received after the stated date and time will not be considered or accepted. Bids will be received for the following project:
Northern and Central High School Commons Audio/Video Upgrades
Bids shall be sealed with the project name in BOLD on the outermost envelope/package. Bids will be received, publicly opened, and read aloud at Portage Public Schools Administration Building located at 8107 Mustang Drive, Portage, Michigan 49002. All bidders may attend the bid opening. Bids shall be submitted to:

Project Description: Provide and install new audio/video equipment in PPS Northern High School Commons, Central High School Commons, and Central High School Gymnasium. Remove selective components of old audio/video system.

As required by State Law, all bids shall be accompanied by the following disclosure statements: Familial Disclosure Statement and Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit. As required by State Law, all bids shall be accompanied with bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. Bid security may be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier’s check, or money order.

There will be a mandatory in-person pre-bid meeting beginning at 3:00 p.m. on May 02, 2023, at Portage Central High School, 8135 S. Westnedge Ave., Portage, MI 49002. The purpose is to provide a general overview of the project and consider questions posed by bidders. Attendance of the pre-bid meeting is mandatory.

No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after submission.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, alternates, or proposals, and to accept those bids, alternates, or proposals that, in their judgment, serve the District’s best interests.
