Description:

The Service Provider will include in their proposal all costs necessary to provide the services requested in this RFP. All costs associated with the service shall be the sole responsibility of the Service Provider. SCESD would like to contract with staffing agencies that can professionally staff all types of District job classifications when District recruitment has been unable to fill positions, as well as multidisciplinary services for enrichment such as Visual and Performing Arts, STEAM, Sports, Outdoor Education, Social-Emotional, Intervention, and Tutoring.
• Positions are generally six to seven hours daily
• Services are preferred in-person but can be virtual with District approval
• Contracts will be awarded based on hourly pricing and the ability to fill positions with qualified candidates
• For Special Education – Direct services, consultation, compensatory services, report-writing, goal development, service documentation, special education assessments, and attendance in IEP meetings.
• For Health Staff – Direct and consultation health services under the supervision of the District Nurse. Indirect services may include travel, phone calls, set-up, treatment planning, and staff collaboration.
• All other staff – Services to be determined based on District job descriptions for unfilled positions.
• Multidisciplinary staffing for direct services for enrichment such as Visual and Performing Arts, STEAM, Sports, Outdoor Education, Social-Emotional, Intervention and Tutoring.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) staff desired but not required
• Local agencies preferred from Monterey County and surrounding counties in Central and Northern California
• Additional information: 8,240 students in 15 schools covering UPK-6th grades
• Services will be evaluated on a biannual basis
