Question: Are there particular / special procedures for a joint-venture to submit a proposal for this project? Specifically in question: 1.Do all members require a GC License? 2. Does the Joint Venture have to be registered in SAM.Gov? 3. Can other teaming arrangements (other than GC-Sub) be utilized in the submission of a proposal and execution of the contract?
Response: Are there particular/special procedures for a joint venture to submit a proposal for this project? Specifically in question: 1. Do all members require a GC License? There are no procedures specific to this project. The Contractor(s) proposing the joint venture must comply with all state and federal regulations. 2. Does the Joint Venture have to be registered in SAM.Gov? Depending on the proposed format of the joint venture, both may be required to be registered. If the joint venture is comprised of one incorporated entity, then that entity would need to be registered. 3. Can other teaming arrangements (other than GC-Sub) be utilized in the submission of a proposal and execution of the contract? Please be more specific. Whitfield County Schools does not wish to restrict any legal entity from competition.

Question: 1. Referencing drawing A1.0 note 2. The drawings state that the contractor shall pull new wiring as necessary to new disconnects to provide continuous wiring without splices. Drawing E1.1, Key note 1 says contractor shall intercept existing circuit above classroom ceiling and splice into existing circuit. Looking for clarification on this. Please advise. 2. During the site walkthrough it was mentioned that wall packs are to be replaced. This isn’t shown on any drawings. Please advise. 3. What type of finish on the storefront material is required? 4. Is the glass to be tinted or clear? 5. Is it possible to change the steel galvanized angle to 8x8x1/2? This is a more standard size.
