Description: Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, FL, will accept bids
until September 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (CDT) for AIRFIELD SIGNAGE IMPROVEMENTS.
Okaloosa County (COUNTY) and the airport staff (AIRPORT) desire to replace sign panels
at Destin Executive Airport and Bob Sikes Airport. New taxiway signage, runway distance
remaining sign, and wind cones will be installed at Bob Sikes Airport as well. The project
will improve airport safety at Bob Sikes Airport and Destin Executive Airport.
Impacts to existing airport facilities that will be incurred include: none
Funding for this project is being provided by Okaloosa County and the Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT) and will be subject to all applicable County and State requirements.

Unless otherwise stipulated in the bid/proposal description, all responses must be submitted using Vendor
Registry only. No other means of submission of responses will be accepted. Responses will be accepted
by Vendor Registry until September 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (CDT) at which time all bids that are timely
submitted will be opened and reviewed.
The County reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive respondent and to waive any
irregularity or technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and the
resulting Agreement that is in its best interest and its decision shall be final.
