Description: The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to gather proposals from qualified companies capable of performing slide refurbishment, steel structure inspections and restoration, and providing annual maintenance and repairs on various water slides at the City of Carlsbad Water Park. The prospective company should, at a minimum, be able to remove calcium buildup, buff, polish, wax, and clean the slide interior, as well as perform minor repairs to the fiberglass slide path. Additionally, the company must be able to remove and replace caulking, remove rust, realign plumbing, and correct issues as needed, along with the ability to perform general inspections of all structures as specified in the scope of services.  The awarded contractor will be offered an annual maintenance agreement contract renewable up to a maximum of four (4) years.
