Florence County South Carolina is seeking a qualified firm
to provide design/build services for the design and construction of a Service
Monument to honor Florence County and Municipal employees who lost their lives
while serving the citizens of Florence County.
The service monument is to be placed on the grand lawn of the Judicial
Center located at 181 N. Irby Street, Florence, SC.

Overview:
Q: In reference to Attachment 1, “Judicial Center Site,” can you please identify the limits of construction which are allowed to be
disturbed? A: The limits of construction is outlined in "GREEN" on the attached Judicial Center Aerial .pdf document.
Q: Are there is any additional information related to the existing
pedestrian circulation that is desired to remain in place? A: The County is open to any
reconfiguration of the existing pedestrian circulation that would be within the
budget for the project.
Q: Is there a size requirement of the monument? A: There is no size requirement for the monument.

Overview: Due to current budgetary restrictions, it is the intent of Florence County to award this project on December 10, 2020.
