Ojai Unified School District is requesting design build proposals under the request for qualifications as per the attached documents.  Questions recieved 3/26/21.





I am writing to submit a couple of questions about the solar RFQ recently posted by the District.


  • I am having difficulty accessing the OJAI UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT 2020 Billing and Usage History .xlsx attachment. I downloaded it but I receive an error message when I attempt to open it. Can you please send me a copy of this or try reposting it to the website?

    2. Is the District considering a financed solution (Power Purchase Agreement) or is the District only interested in a Design-Build contract?


    Funding will come from our Measure K bond.  Not a PPA

    Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 4/13/2021 10:00 AM

    Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Meeting will be held at the Ojai Unified School District office, 414 E. Ojai Ave., Ojai, CA 93023 in the board room. This will be a question answer period based on previously identified areas and types of installation as our preferred selection. A tour of each campus will be conducted in order to familiarize all parties with the site conditions. You should plan on 2-3 hours for this tour.

    Overview: RFQ responses were received by Site Logiq, Schneider Electric and Centrica. The district staff will evaluate these on a scoring matrix and determine the need for follow up with questions and possible interviews. Each of these firms will be notified of the final decision by the district in naming the firm which will be awarded the project moving forward. Thanks to all who submitted a response.
