Question 1

Posted: 12/18/2023

Question: What, if any, current challenges are the district experiencing with the current survey program? What additional enhancements of the current survey program would the district like to see with the new survey program?

Response: Our district has never embraced surveys as an authentic listening tool for change and transformation. We are interested in partnering with a vendor that will provide professional learning and support to shift the mindsets of school and district leaders so that surveys become part of the continuous improvement cycle. Previous vendors asked us to write our own surveys and do our own analysis. We are looking for a vendor who will look at our new strategic plan and recommend survey items that will help us set a baseline and gauge improvement. We are not experts in surveys, so we are looking for a vendor that has the knowledge and expertise to advise us. We want to trust that survey items are valid and reliable and receive easy to read and understand reports that help us make sense of the results.
