Description: Escambia County Waste Services is seeking quotes from equipment rental vendors to provide temporary ground protection mats at the closed Saufley Field Landfill located at 5660 Saufley Field Road, Pensacola, FL 32526. The mats shall be a composite material such as Durabase or equal. Vendor shall deliver and install 72, 8' x 14' mats as shown on the attached Matting Site Plan. A temporary 14'-wide matted access road will be created to the edge of the water to allow for a 27' pad to operate from. The matted access road shall allow tracked equipment to remove sedimentation from the stormwater pond. Vendor is to provide pricing for mat rental, freight delivery and return, and set up and removal. Please contact Pat Johnson, Director at ptjohnson@myescambia.com with any questions.
