 INTENT

4.2.1    This Bid is to secure a source to provide Fertilizer to meet the needs of the City for a period of one (1) year after the award of the Bid.

4.2.2    The prices shall remain firm to the City of Fort Walton Beach during the award period. 

4.2.3    The City reserves the right to:

·         Cancel any Contract or Agreement entered into under the provisions of this Bid and re-bid these items during the bid period if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City, e.g., due to Bidder performance or price changes that are not acceptable.

·         Extend the bid period by mutual agreement between the successful Bidder(s) and the City, if in its judgment the extension would be in the best interest of the City.
