Description: The purpose of this Contract is to provide manual snow removal from downtown sidewalks in conjunction with City equipment and personnel. Contracted resources would be required to remove snow and thereafter continually remove snow as required by the City. Work may require laborers equipped with snow shovels provided by the contractor and/or laborers equipped with mechanized snow removal equipment (32” or less) upon request. Contractor may be required to treat sidewalks with a spreader upon request. Treatment material to be supplied by the City. Sidewalks are required to be safely passable at all times as determined by the City. Contractor will be guaranteed one (1) four-hour minimum call in a 24-hour period and will be required to report within one (1) hour of being called.
