contractors for the purpose of road resurfacing that is to include milling, asphalt paving,
striping, and traffic control, if necessary, for 2.42 miles of roadway specified in the bid
document. There is an estimated 4.03 miles of roads that will require only thermoplastic
striping.

Overview:

All vendors interested in conducting business with the City of Woodstock, Georgia must complete and return the Vendor Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form in order to be eligible to be awarded a contract.  Please note that all vendors are subject to comply with the City’s conflict interest policies as stated within the certification section below.  If a vendor has a relationship with a City official or employee, an immediate family member of a City official or employee, the vendor shall disclose the information required below.

Question: Good afternoon, 1) The Milling of 1 1/8" on the roadways, will this be Edge milling or full width? 2) Can the contractor use Standard Ring Risers for manholes and water valves? 3) Just to be clear, Russell Bridge is only to milled at the tie-ins and not the full length, correct? 4) If the bridge is only to be overlayed, will adding roughly 48 tons of asphalt to the bridge compromise the Bridge integrity? 5) Will the turn lane from HWY 92 onto Justin Drive need to be milled and paved also? Question: In section 3.0 Bid Format, item 8, is asking for a Performance and Payment bond as part of the required documents. Is this only a requirement of the low bidder to be able to enter into a contract with the city, and supplied to the city after the City has determined who they are awarding the contract to, or do all bidders need to include this in their bid submission?

Question: The Price per task sheet shows a 1 1/8" asphalt overlay but state that we will place 1" of Permaflex and 1" of 12.5mm. 1" of 12.5mm is out of GDOT specification. Will this be adjusted to meet spec or will the mix type be changed?
