Description: Sealed Request for Qualification packages will be opened on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. (local time) at the Clayton County Water Authority offices located at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 for On-Demand Engineering Services – Small Firm. Any packages received after the specified time will not be considered. A non-mandatory pre-qualifications meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260. It is the CCWA’s intention to award Master Services Contracts to multiple “small” firms to support CCWA’s needs. Work would be assigned through Task Orders based on the Firm’s expertise, cost effectiveness and availability to complete the work responsively. Subsequent work assignments will be based on CCWA project needs, productivity, and quality of prior work completed and may result in a less than an equal distribution of work. All Task Orders will be issued on “As Needed, When Needed” basis. The initial term of this contract will be three years. The contract may be extended on a year to year basis for a total of two additional years at by mutual consent of both parties. For certain projects it is anticipated that CCWA may request a scope of work and cost estimate from all firms to determine the best solution for CCWA. Where CCWA determines that current Contractor(s) have not provided expertise or costs that are acceptable to CCWA, CCWA reserves the right to procure services from others.
