Description: The City of Framingham (“City”) invites proposals from qualified firms to provide sealed proposals for The City of Framingham (the City) has been awarded a Brownfields Assessment Grant by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The grant allows the City to continue its Brownfields Program. The grant provides funding for Hazardous Materials ($500,000) as well as Petroleum related work. The intent of the grant is to update previous inventory work, conduct public outreach, and assess potentially contaminated sites City-wide with a focus on the south side and downtown area. The City is seeking a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) to carry out tasks within its Brownfields Program.
