Description: The Village is interested in contracting for Bernard Drive Phase II & III Engineering.  It is the Village’s intention to award all Phase II engineering as one design project to one consultant.  The Phase II engineering is currently programmed with the Northwest Council of Mayors to start in 2021.  The Phase 3 engineering and construction is not currently in the program, but was originally requested sooner than now planned.  With construction likely in 2024 or 2025 the chances of at least partial funding remain high.  Other funding sources are also being sought out and applied for.  It is the Village’s intention to build the roadway over two construction seasons, likely as two separate construction contracts.  That decision will be dictated by funding allocations and State requirements on the project.  It is again the Village’s intention to award all Phase 3 work as one contract to one consultant.
