REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE BID 

 The City of Parkland, Florida is currently requesting bids from qualified companies to provide for the:

Loxahatchee Road Shoulder Re-establishment - ITB #2017-10
The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain competitive bids to remove the over burden along the shoulder of Loxahatchee Road for approximately 3,281 linear feet mainly to the west of Parkside Drive with a small portion to the east of Parkside Drive on the north and south sides of the roadway off the edge of pavement one (1) foot behind the existing guardrail.  In areas where no guardrail exists the limits shall be four (4) feet off the edge of pavement. 

 Sealed bids shall be received by the Office of the City Clerk, at Sal Pagliara City Hall, 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067, on or before 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened.  Bids received after that time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the Offeror.

 A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for January 9, 2017 9:00 AM, at 6500 Parkside Drive, Parkland, FL 33067.  All Bidders planning to submit a bid are required to attend this meeting.  Bidders should allow sufficient time to insure arrival prior to the indicated time.  Bids from those who have failed to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference will not be opened.
