Description:

The Lake Charlene Sediment Catchment Project is a project to be managed by Escambia County Engineering Division of Public Works for providing enhanced stormwater improvements to existing infrastructure for the purpose of improving water quality within the Lake Charlene watershed. The project location will be in the three-way intersection of Clydesdale Drive, South 69^th Avenue, and Lake Charlene Drive in the Bridle Trail Estates neighborhood in Escambia County, FL. The project entails retrofitting an existing storm drainage piping system within the Lake Charlene watershed with a CDS^® Stormwater Treatment unit, by Contech^® Engineered Solutions, along with a baffle box for flow diversion to the unit. Upon installation of the stormwater treatment unit and baffle box, the excavated roadway and curb and gutter will need to be repaired/replaced, permanent traffic striping installed, and permanent vegetation shall be installed in all disturbed project areas.
