| The City of Parkland, Florida will receive Bids from qualified contractors for construction services in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained in the Request for Bids. Sealed bids will be received at the City of Parkland City Hall 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida, 33067, until WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2017 @ 10:00 AM local time, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. All Proposers or their representatives are invited to be present. The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain competitive Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the construction of the Loxahatchee Road Sidewalk Extension Project, including the demolition of all existing structural components & apparatuses and all other identified and incidental features in accordance with the plans, specifications, and all applicable State, County, and Local Municipality requirements. The project is located in the City of Parkland and will require a City of Parkland Permit for final inspection and acceptance from the City of Parkland and Broward County. The final inspection must meet all of the City of Parkland and Broward County’s standards and requirements. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting and site inspection on October 25, 2017 at 10:00AM at City of Parkland Public Works Conference Room, 6500 Parkside Drive, Parkland Florida 33067. All Proposers planning to submit a Bid are required to attend this meeting. Bids received from Proposers who have failed to attend the mandatory pre-Bid meeting will not be opened or accepted and returned to the Proposer unopened. Proposers must submit one (1) identified original, one (1) electronic and three (3) copies of the Bid including any attachments. The Bid shall be signed by a representative who is authorized to contractually bind the Proposer. The Bids shall be delivered and addressed to the City of Parkland, Attn: City Clerk’s Office, 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067 and shall be labeled “ITB #2018-05 SEALED BID FOR LOXAHATCHEE ROAD SIDEWALK EXTENSION PROJECT” and include the Proposer’s return address. Any Proposer who wishes his Bid to be considered is responsible for making certain that his Bid is received in the City by the proper time. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered unless specified. Bids received after the scheduled Bid Submittal Deadline will be returned unopened. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to see that any Bid submitted shall have sufficient time to be received by the City before the Bid Submittal Deadline.
