Description:

The purpose of this bid is to seek a contractor for the construction of the Highland’s Mobile Village wastewater collection system to the City of Sebring sewage collection system as shown on the bid plans. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant, lift station, and ponds as described on the plans and in the specifications.  The scope of work is generally described as the construction of a new gravity sewer connection to the City of Sebring sewage collection system as shown on the plans. Once the new gravity system is fully functional and authorized to be placed into service, the existing wastewater treatment facility and lift station shall be, emptied, cleaned, removed and then legally and properly disposed of offsite. The existing plant site, lift station site and the percolation ponds shall be filled in with clean sand fill to the grades specified on the plans.  The engineering cost estimate of this project is $125,000.00.  A copy of the plans can be obtained by emailing a request to purchasing@mysebring.com.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. All interested parties will meet at 368 S. Commerce Ave., Sebring, FL 33870 in City Council Chambers. At 10:15 a.m. or shortly thereafter, all parties in attendance will leave for a site visit. No questions will be answered at this meeting unless the written question is provided to the Purchasing Agent prior to or during the meeting. Written questions will be answered at the meeting and then posted online at VendorRegistry.com as an addendum.
