Question: Hello! Can you please let us know if the MWBE participation is mandatory for an award or just worth points to our final score?
Response: MWVBE participation is a goal and is not mandatory for an award or part of the evaluation criteria. If there will not be any subcontracting the only form that needs to be filled out is the Waiver of Participation

Question: 18. Do contractors have to travel between schools during the workday? If so, are they required to clock out during travel between schools OR are they able to stay clocked in during travel between schools? 19. Does the school district reimburse for mileage?
Response: 18. Do contractors have to travel between schools during the workday? If so, are they required to clock out during travel between schools OR are they able to stay clocked in during travel between schools? We try to schedule contract work at a school for either a full or half day. If they travel between schools they are not required to clock in and out but this would be included in the hourly rate. 19. Question: We are a leading provider of online/virtual speech services. Will this RFP consider virtual speech services?
Response: Under normal conditions we only do in person services. The only time we would do virtual is under circumstances that the board would move us to remote again due to COVID protocols. You can still submit a proposal but it would be up to the evaluation committee if they would consider it.

Question: Are teletherapy services an acceptable delivery model?
Response: Under normal conditions we only do in person services. The only time we would do virtual is under circumstances that the board would move us to remote again due to COVID protocols. You can still submit a proposal but it would be up to the evaluation committee if they would consider it.

Response: 1. Will you accept changes or redlines to the contract - No 2. How many SLP's did you utilize in 20-21 SY? Approx. 66 employed and 7 contracted 3. Is there any subcontracting requirements? There are no requirements. If subcontracting is used we do have goals for using minority, women and veteran owned businesses but there are no requirements. Subcontractors will be required to do all background checks prior to beginning.
