Description:
The Walker County Board of Education invites your company to submit a bid for CUSTODIAL SUPPLIES to be used by the Walker County School System. Bidders should thoroughly review all terms, conditions, and specifications. We purchase items in bulk to store in our warehouse and the schools and administrative facilities are then able to purchase those items through our warehouse.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: The Pre-Bid Meeting is mandatory in order to qualify for submitting a bid. Your product/products will not be considered if you do not attend the pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid meeting will be to provide details about the bid process and answer any questions that you may have. Samples should be brought to the pre-bid meeting, with the exception of the 55 gallon garbage can liners. We will provide you with a sample of our current stock of that item so that you may bid the same quality. Please be sure to bring a sample of the items mentioned in the sample request letter to the pre-bid meeting.

Will you require a sample of the 55 gallon trash liners to be considered for the bid?
Yes, please submit your sample of the trash liner with your bid to be considered. This is an effort to ensure that we get the same quality of bag that we are use to purchasing.
What was the amount paid for the 55 gallon trash liners for 2017?
The price per case was $24.59 in March 2014, which was an extension from Bid #12-02 Custodial Supply Bid. For 2015, we were able to secure a slight decrease in price at $24.09 per case. Peoples agreed to keep the price at $24.09 per case for 2016 and 2017 as well.
