Description:

The City of Carlsbad is considering applying for and obtaining a Governmental Liquor License.  The intent of this proposal is to enter into an agreement for a Lessee to manage and operate alcohol sales at the Lake Carlsbad Municipal Golf Course under the proposed City’s Government Liquor License.  The sale of snacks or food items is not required with this RFP but is at the discretion of the proposer and with final approval by the City.  The City will maintain the infrastructure of the Concession Area which includes; the Back Meeting Room and Snack Bar Area in the Pro-Shop as well as the entire 27 hole golf course. The operations of the Concession Area and all related expenses will be the sole responsibility of the Lessee. The Lessee shall maintain at his own expense public liability insurance with the City named as an additional insured. This is to be a multi-year contract, renewed annually, based on the satisfaction of both parties.
