Description:

Okeechobee County is seeking bids from experienced underwater marine contractors to remove and replace existing regulatory waterway markers throughout Okeechobee County’s waterways. There are 27 original marker sites that will require inspection and potential removal of any remaining markers, hardware, down lines, cable, piles and/or signs. Twenty (20) new markers shall be installed at locations designated by Okeechobee County and permitted by other governing agencies. Okeechobee County has purchased all required regulatory markers for this project and the contractor shall be responsible for all materials, equipment, labor, hardware and appurtenances there within for complete installation. Installation requirements, permits and specifications are listed in the bid documents.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A non-mandatory pre-bid and site visit will be held Wednesday, September 12th @ 10:00 am at the C. Scott Driver Pavilion located at 10101 Highway 78 West, Okeechobee, FL 34974. After a brief meeting at C. Scott Driver, all interested parties will visit, together, each location and view the sites from shore-line
