Description: Calhoun County Road Department (CCRD) is seeking bids for SINGLE BEVEL and/or DOUBLE BEVEL through hardened heat treated steel cutting edges to be affixed toCCRD snowplows. The intent is for the CCRD to order blades during a sixty (60) day period. Bid prices shall remain firm for sixty (60) days, as referenced in Sec. 1.23. Delivery shall include one Calhoun County location. The most responsive bid shall include the following specifications and requirements.

Question: The part drawings included with the bid documents do not match the part descriptions/specifications in the bid document. Is the county requesting reverse-punch blades (countersunk on convex side for wing plows) or standard grader blades (countersunk on concave side)? Please provide correct drawings for both line items.

Response: Please submit your proposal based on PART III - Technical Specifications, Sec 3.2 Specifications and per Attachment C. The CCRD is seeking underbody blades that are standard 3/4" highway punched scraper blades in 6 ft. and 7 ft. lengths. Thank-you.
