Description: Beaufort County desires to receive qualification statements from interested parties for Facility Assessments on multiple buildings and facilities in various locations throughout Beaufort County. The subject facilities vary in size, use, type, as well as age and condition. The Facility Assessments shall include a detailed review of architectural and engineering systems and components in terms of their general condition (structural, mechanical, electrical, and fenestration), serviceability, deficiencies, and the useful remaining life of applicable systems as well as recommended renovations, major repairs, or replacement with estimated costs respectively. Engineered systems to be surveyed include; Architectural, Mechanical (HVAC and plumbing), Electrical, Fire and life Safety systems, and Vertical Transportation systems as applicable to the specific facility. ADA compliance status for facility access/ egress, restrooms, as well as obvious code and safety related components shall be included in the Assessment. Statements of deficiencies shall be reviewed in terms of: deferred maintenance, code compliance and safety, remaining useful life, modernization (for improved comfort, convenience and efficiency), and energy savings. A list of ECM’s should be provided for each building. Facilities scheduled for this assessment are listed on the attached exhibit A with information regarding physical address, building size, date purchased, basic building description, and parcel ID.
