Title: Marshall Mega Site Readiness Plan RFQ#116-20
Deadline: 7/29/2020 3:00 PM (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Status: In Review
Solicitation Number: RFQ#116-20
Description:
Calhoun County (the County) is soliciting professional services consultants for the preparation of a Master Site Readiness Plan for the Marshall Mega Site Project. The County is engaging a consulting/engineering firm to prepare a Site Master Plan for the Marshall Mega Site. A master plan focused on industrial development of the 1,723-acre Marshall Mega Site, including rail access, is warranted once water supply capacity can be confirmed. There is currently no geotechnical data for this site. A report for a preliminary geotechnical investigation is necessary to provide potential large-scale industrial developers. A traffic study defining roadway improvements necessary to support a major OEM is important to capture all potential major capital costs required for full-scale development of the Marshall Mega Site.
