TRUCK SERVICES TO HAUL RECYCLING COMMODITIES

 

Proposals must be delivered to Annie Meredith, City Clerk by no later than January 21, 2020 at 4:00 p.m., Arizona time, at the following address:

Proposals will be opened on January 21, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. at the City Clerk’s office located at 310 N. 4th Street, Kingman, AZ  86401.

Unsigned proposals will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.  The City of Kingman reserves the right to accept or reject any or all RFPs or any part thereof and waive informalities deemed in the best interest of the City.  All addenda shall be issued no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the RFP closing and will be published on the City’s website.  Receipt of RFP addenda must be acknowledged by signing and returning the appropriate procurement document and acknowledging receipt on the proposal form.

Service Delivery Expectations:

City of Kingman is seeking proposals for the provision of trucking services to haul recycling commodities from 3700 E. Andy Devine Avenue, Kingman, AZ, 86401 to the following locations:

Republic Services Recycling Center

333 W. Gowan Road

North Las Vegas, NV 89032

 

Strategic Materials Recycling Center

4910 Donovan Way

North Las Vegas, NV 89081

It is anticipated these services would be needed two to three times per month.   Commodities will be in city-furnished 40 yard roll-off containers. Hauling services are to be provided within fifteen days of request by City.  Proposers shall provide price for single container trip and double container trip.  If you are not capable of providing one of the requested services, mark no bid.  The term of this proposal award will be one year.

Bidders are instructed to include any and all costs in their bid items for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, utilities, facilities, licenses, permits, incidentals and fee’s for the performance of all work as required for the transport of commodities.   The bidder shall possess all permits, licenses and professional credentials necessary to provide services as specified including all equipment and operator’s licenses necessary to supply, deliver and perform services as specified.  Trucks shall meet all DOT standards and regulatory criteria.  Proposers shall provide proof of insurance naming the City of Kingman as additional insured.

Criteria to be Used for Awarding the Proposal:

The proposal will be awarded based upon best value to the City of Kingman. 

Interested proposers shall complete, execute and return the “Bidder Response” form.

 The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
