The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain competitive proposals from qualified athletic turf maintenance contractors to perform all athletic turf fertilization, weed control, aerification and top dressing services for all Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department (OCPRD) sites including: Herman C. Michael Park fields 1-4, Bogart Sports Complex fields 1-6, Butlers Crossing Micro Soccer Complex, OCMS Football Field, Oconee Veterans Park soccer fields A-D, Softball/Baseball Fields 1-4, Multipurpose Fields 5-8 and Veteran Memorial grounds.
The Oconee County Board of Commissioners may renew this annual contract up to four (4) successive, one-year periods contingent upon the appropriation of funds in the annual budget for such fiscal year. The initial contract period for this service is July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. Please see the attached RFP documents for contractor qualifications, requirements and general work scope.
