Description: Sealed BIDS will be received by Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners at the Okeechobee County Historical Courthouse, 304 NW 2nd Street, Room 123. Okeechobee, FL 34972 until 3:00pm on May 16, 2024. Bids will be received on the first floor, Room 123, and publicly opened in Room 201 and read aloud. Any BIDS received after the time specified will not be accepted.
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing, and delivering motor fuel, lubricants, and other supplies. The Okeechobee County Public Works Department, 804 NW 2nd St., Okeechobee, FL 34972, has two (above ground) fuel tanks. The proposer shall deliver Diesel fuel to one (1) existing County owned 12,000-gallon Diesel fuel tank and one (1) existing County owned 12,000-gallon Unleaded Fuel tank. The tank(s) shall be filled and maintained at reasonable levels based upon actual usage.
• Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel, Grade No. 2, for use in over-the-road diesel engines, conforming to Florida Administrative Code 5J-21.001, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (#2 Diesel).
• Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel – Red Dye – Grade No. 2, for use in off-the-road diesel generators, conforming to Florida Administrative Code 5J-21.001, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (#2 RD Diesel).
• Synthetic SAE High Mileage Blend 10-W-30 for Gasoline Engines – in bulk.
• Anti-Freeze Universal Blend – 50/50 Diluted gallons.
• Anti-Freeze Universal Blend – 50/50 Diluted 55-gallon drum.
• Each bidder will be required to submit a current Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) Price Schedule. The bid award will be based on the vendor profit margin above OPIS which is fixed for the duration of the contract.
All materials furnished and all work performed shall be in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents pertaining thereto.

Any questions pertaining to the project specifications or scope of work will be addressed to Jessica Schooley in writing to the physical or email address noted below, no later than Wednesday May 8, 2024, at 3:00pm. The final addendum will be issued on Friday May 10, 2024, by 5:00pm, if necessary.
