This Request for Proposal issued March 15, 2021 is to seek out the
services from an architectural, engineering and planning firm to provide the
programming, planning, design, construction drawings, and construction
administration with 12-month warranty, and inspection services for the
renovation of New Mexico Highlands University’s Sininger Hall building located
at 904 National Avenue at its main campus in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
A
pre-proposal meeting will be held by Zoom video conference on April 1, 2021 at
9:00 am. A
site visit at the Sininger Hall building will be held by appointment on April 2, 2021. Sininger Hall is located at 904 National
Avenue on the NMHU main campus in Las Vegas, NM 87701.

Question: I am trying to register one of the principals in our office to attend the pre-proposal meeting and I am not able to change the name that populates the online request form. (The name of our principal officer). Right now our principal officer is registered to attend but he will not be able to. How can I change the name?

Question: 1. How do we schedule a site visit? Do we email to schedule? 2. Will the Zoom link be shared with all the registered vendors or do we need to request the link? 3. Will a digital copy be submitted via the online site in addition to the 5 hard copies listed in the RFP? 4. Are any of the forms / attachments due prior to submission of the RFP? (i.e. the Acceptance of terms) 5. "Cost" is mentioned in Section V "Award of a Contract will not be based solely on cost." What cost information, if any, is being requested?

Question: Will the design team be hiring the commissioning agent?
Response: The university will be hiring a commissioning agent. This will not be the responsibility of the architect.

Question: The presenters at the site visit stated that the proposal is due on April 29, 2021. The RFP lists 4/29/21 and 4/30/21 as the RFP due dates. Below is where I found the conflicting due dates: RFP page 1 – due date 4/29/21 RFP page 4 – due date 4/30/21 RFP page 16 – due date 4/30/21 RFP page 28, attachment 6 – due date 4/30/21 Can NMHU clarify what the due date is for the proposal? Thank you
Response: Technical Proposal, Cost Proposal, and Attachments/Certifications are due no later than 2:00 PM (MST), 29 April, 2021. Request for last three years of firm’s financial statements in Section IV, item D in COMPENSATION & BILLING SCHEDULE, page 12 must be postmarked by Friday, April 30 2021.
