Description: Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners will be undertaking a solicitation for a transit service provider. To supplement staff in the selection of a qualified transit provider to provide fixed-route and paratransit public transportation services throughout the County and the surrounding area, the County is seeking a Transportation Consultant to provide Professional Services. Services include assisting in the development of a solicitation package and evaluation of responses, and may include negotiation of contract and transition assistance if the county selects a different provider than the one currently providing transit services.
