Description: Qualified firms and/or contractors licensed to do work in Dorchester, SC are invited and encouraged to submit a proposal to provide “On-Call” Stormwater Pipe and Box repair, replacement and installation services at various locations in Dorchester County. Work will be in accordance with the Bid Sheet and Specifications provided. All unit costs will be turn-key and include all ancillary costs of repair, replacement and installation to include but not be limited to mobilization, traffic control, excavation, dewatering, pipe bedding, backfill and compaction. Asphalt repair will be paid separately. Referenced Documents: • SCDOT Specifications Latest Edition • Dorchester County Design Standards and Ordinances Product Requirement HDPE Pipe Bedding Detail All HDPE pipe installations will comply with the following bedding detail • Type 2 Class B Bedding • Minimum 6” compacted 57 Stone below the pipe • Compacted 57 stone to spring line of pipe • Suitable backfill material compacted in 6” lifts to meet 95% modified proctor
