It is the intent of Beaufort County to solicit competitive sealed proposals from qualified and experienced
firms to provide construction services for the eight-court Pickleball facility at Burton Wells Recreation
Center.
The selected firm must have knowledge of and experience with similar projects and to provide all services
in full compliance with all applicable local, State, and Federal laws and regulations.
Provide a lump sum price proposal for the work to include but not limited to the following:
1. All work as shown on construction plans as prepared by Andrews Engineering.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Please sign up if you plan to attend the pre-solicitation meeting. A Non - Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., in the Finance Conference Room located at 106 Industrial Village Road, Building 2, Beaufort, SC 29906. Bidders are responsible for their own transportation.

Overview: Burton Wells Recreation Center Pickleball Courts The following information and attachments will amend, modify, and/or clarify the bid documents described above and are hereby part of the same. Please incorporate these items into the bidding documents for the above referenced project. Please acknowledge receipt of this on the bid form. 1. Refer to attached drawing sheet #7, addendum #2 dated 01.24.2020, for revised typical section of grass pave system. 2. Refer to sheet #E2. Musco Control Panel shall be mounted on the outside west wall of the Senior Center in lieu of the location shown near P1 and P2. Location to be south of the emergency exit door. a. A fenced enclosure with gate and top shall be installed around the panel. Fencing shall be black vinyl coated 9 gauge, matching the court fencing specifications. b. Electric and/or communication conduits shall be run from the P1/P2 location to the mechanical mezzanine above this location, and then exposed along the interior masonry wall to the outside west wall of the Senior Center. Conduit(s) shall be painted to match the wall. 3. Refer to attached Musco Control Panel datasheet.
