Addition 1
Posted: 11/21/2022
Type of Addition: Addendum 1
Overview:
The following changes, additions and deletions have been provided:
ADD to the scope of work, section 4.0, removal of diesel tank:
Base: 40kw natural gas powered automatic-start generator
Alternate: 45kw natural gas powered automatic-start generator
Please provide pricing for the Base 40kw and also the Alternate 45kw, and make a recommendation on which would be best for Station 1 and why it would be best.
Station 1 has an above-ground diesel tank in the basement, and vendor shall remove the tank and properly dispose of that. There is a line item on the price page for this, which is also all-inclusive. Contact Michele Hughey at 269-753-4656 for details on that tank or to see it.
REPLACE original price page with attached REVISED price page, adding the removal of the diesel tank.
This addendum must be acknowledged on the Offer and Acceptance or Offer to Contract page of your bid/proposal or your bid/proposal may be deemed non-responsive.

Addition 2
Posted: 12/7/2022
Type of Addition: change due date NOT AN ADDENDUM
Overview: This is NOT AN ADDENDUM. Please do not acknowledge. Answering vendor questions, which will be published to all when we get answer. That will be in the form of an addendum.
Deadline: 12/14/2022 1:00 PM
Addition 3
Posted: 12/7/2022
Type of Addition: Addendum 2
Overview: The following changes, additions and deletions have been provided:
CHANGE the due date from 12/7/22 1:00pm to 12/14/22 1:00pm.
QUESTIONS: The following questions were asked, and the answers follow:
Is the generator location at the discretion of the contractor? Yes
Do the generators need to supply enough power to run all aspects of the building they are connected to? For example, the 40Kw nor the 45Kw may not run the air conditioning at station 1.
The generators need to power lights, HVAC, refrigerators, hot water heaters, alarm system at all stations, and the back-up 911 room at Station 1. If you do not think a 45kw will be adequate for Station 1, then propose a higher capacity and explain why a lower capacity would not work.
Will underground gas line be an acceptable way to get fuel to the generators? Yes
Do all generators need to be Liquid cooled? No
Is there Lead time limitations? We'd like the generators as soon as possible, but we don't think there is much anyone can do about lead times.
Do they need to meet specific noise requirements? No
Will aluminum wire be acceptable? Yes
This addendum must be acknowledged, or your proposal may be deemed non-responsive.
If you've already submitted your proposal and want to make changes, you may rescind it at any time before the due date/time and re-upload it before the due date/time.
If you've already uploaded your proposal, but you have no changes, no action is required on your part; however, if you're selected as a vendor, we will request a letter affirming that you've received the addendum and it doesn't affect your proposal.
